Harlem Week — Celebrate Our Magic
Harlem Week is a vibrant annual cultural celebration that honors the rich heritage, creativity, and community spirit of Harlem, New York. What began in 1974 as a one-day “Harlem Day” designed to uplift the neighborhood has evolved into a multi-day festival showcasing the best of Harlem’s arts, music, food, history, and community achievements.
Each summer, Harlem comes alive with more than 100 events spanning live performances, cultural exhibitions, street fairs, panel discussions, fashion shows, health and wellness activities, family days, and more. From world-class music and dance to engaging community workshops, local cuisine, and creative expression, Harlem Week celebrates diversity, Black excellence, and the legacy of one of America’s most iconic cultural havens.
